Pancakeeees! :D

Helloooo peoples :D

Omigosh. I actually fried my own pancakes. At about 2pm, my family and I went to Giant to buy the ingredients. Then take bus back (fr fun) to West Plaza. Went to Fairprice and bought other groceries fr dinner, including kimchi. Hohoho. Then walked home. At home, my mother cooked rice, then after it was cooked, we opened up the packet of kimchi and poured it into a bowl. And of course there are other things on the table lah okay. And omg, I actually ate kimchi -.- Anyway, after eating dinner, Sis and I started making the batter fr the pancakes. We mixed flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, milk, butter and eggs together. There was a lot of lumps and the recipe said we had to stir it until the lumps were all gone. Then my father came in the kitchen and helped us to stir. When it was all smooth, we heated up the frying pan, put butter on it and poured the batter on it. The first pancake was flipped over by my father. It wasn't very pretty, but still it passed at least (in appearance). We made 2 first, then went to the table to eat. It was daaaaamn nice. Seriously, I'm not bragging or what. It really can be compared to the hotcakes sold at McDonalds. Just that homemade is more ex -.- Anyway, after eating the 2 of them, I made my own one. I didn't grease the pan w/ butter and the whole thing sticked on the pan and when I flipped it, it tore. Omg. Then I took it out and shared it w/ my sister. It was still nice luh. After that, I fried the remaining batter. I was getting better at each time. So damn happy :D I put maple syrup on it and ate it. Not all luh, because there was a lot. I ate 3/4 of it, and the remaining ones I gave it to my mother. My mother said it was very very nice. Hawhawhaw. Of course. Because her pretty and talented daughter made it fr her! HOHOHO. Kidding. But seriously, it was really nice and I was satisfied w/ my own cooking. Thanks to the recipe I found online ;]

Hey, I'll tell you all a secret. Originally, I wanted to make the pancakes fr Teachers' Day, but dismissed the idea when my father said that it wouldn't be nice when it reached school. Hawhaw :D

;loveyou,
katherine.
